Hermannstraße dormitory
Our Hermannstraße dormitory is located at the foot of Aachen's Lousberg, according to legend added to the city by the devil. It's just a few minutes to the university and the inner city. The building offers seven apartments for couples and 62 rooms, 49 of which have their own bathrooms. The rooms are partially furnished. You are welcome to bring your own furniture as well.
The Hermannstraße dormitory has a large club room. Here, the residents meet to study in the morning and to talk, watch TV, play table soccer or - if they can - the piano in the evening. Community is relevant. In summer, everyone uses the large inner yard for barbecuing under the old beech tree. The most relentless ones have been spotted here in winter, too.
The social annual project of the dormitories
By way of an internally planned event, every resident of each dormitory shows commitment once a year: Whether this is through a party, café, guided tours of the city or car washes - there are no limits to imagination. Plan what you feel like, choose the time and pick your own shared (dormitory) target: The revenues of your campaign are to benefit a social project in Aachen or anywhere else in the world.
